Eastland Development for Growth and Equity marks its public debut with a commitment to revitalize the Eastland area through strategic partnerships, economic opportunity, and neighborhood engagement
COLUMBUS, Ohio – Today, Eastland Development for Growth and Equity (E.D.G.E.), Inc. marks its official public debut. The organization gathers community leaders, public officials, business stakeholders, nonprofit partners, and residents committed to strengthening the Eastland community and surrounding areas.
The E.D.G.E., Inc. Official Launch takes place at New Birth Christian Ministries, 3475 Refugee Road, Columbus, Ohio, from 12:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m., with the formal program beginning at 1:00 p.m. This invitation-only event introduces E.D.G.E., Inc. and its mission to foster community revitalization, economic opportunity, neighborhood engagement, and sustainable growth throughout the Eastland area.
Guests learn about the organization’s vision, strategic priorities, and plans for collaborative partnerships that support businesses, community stakeholders, and residents.

It also demonstrates a significant commitment to investing in the people, businesses, and communities that make Eastland unique,” said Lonnie Watson, Executive Director of E.D.G.E. “We are dedicated to bringing together community voices, available resources, and committed partners to ensure that growth and opportunity benefit the entire community. By working together, we can create lasting positive change and build a brighter future that reflects the aspirations of all who call Eastland home.”

Together, we can help restore Eastland as the thriving, harmonious, and prosperous destination it once was and position it for continued success in the years ahead.”
The launch event features remarks from community leaders and organizational representatives, networking opportunities, and an overview of the organization’s initiatives and goals.
